What sizes are the Marquees and how many guests can I accommodate?

Our approximate guidelines are as follows:

28FT X 38FT MARQUEE (UP TO 80 SEATED AND 100 STANDING)

28FT X 28FT MARQUEE (UP TO 40 SEATED AND 54 STANDING)

20FT X 30 FT MARQUEE( UP TO 48 SEATED AND 60 STANDING)

20FT X 20FT 24 MARQUEE (UP TO 24 SEATED AND 32 STANDING)

Are they waterproof?

Yes.

Do I pay extra for the side walls?

No, they are all included in the price.

Can I attach the side walls myself?

Yes, you can attach the sides later very easily by yourself. The side walls clip onto a cord which runs along the inside line of each arch, they can also be pegged to the ground if required.

Is carpeting required?

Most events we cover require carpeting, particularly weddings. It also depends on the weather and type of grass. However less informal events work perfectly well without.

How much electricity do the lights use?

Approximately 3 amps is drawn from one set up uplighters (6). We provide circuit breakers and therefore we just need a standard plug point.

Do you provide toilet hire?

We work closely with local firms providing toilet hire.

How many guests can I seat around a table?

8-10 AROUND a 5FT TABLE

6-8 AROUND a 4FT TABLE

6 on a 6FT TRESTLE TABLE (PLUS ONE ON EITHER END)

Can you provide a suitable venue for the marquee?

We can offer our own fantastic venue just outside York, in the surrounding countryside. Please see our venue page for more details.

Can you provide caterers?

We work closely with several caterers.

What surfaces can the marquees be set up on?

Only grass.

We start mid April and end early october

Do you use carpet more than once?

Absoloutley, we hand wash, power hose and dry all our carpets until they look like new again, they always wash so well, we never throw away
