Busy Summer Ahead for our Wedding Venue
The summer of 2020 is already looking like a busy one for us at Marston Moor Marquees. It all started off with Sam featuring in an article in Yorkshire Business Magazine looking at farmer’s wives diversifying. The Oak Tree Farm wedding venue, the marquee hire and Get Ahead Hats all received some great coverage.
Oak Tree Farm Venue
Weddings start here at Oak Tree Farm in May and are running through until October. There is still some availability for bookings. We have now got new luxury loos on site and a new fire pit (pictured above), both of which should be popular with our guests. We also have a new supplier, Adam from Wharfeside Catering and Event Hire. He is based in Thorp Arch, so just around the corner, really helping us to keep with our ethos of using local suppliers.
The venue is not just used for weddings – in May we are hosting a 100th birthday celebration for an amazing lady. We feel very honoured to be hosts. In June the York Vineyard whole church weekend will be coming to Oak Tree Farm venue. There will be lots of fun and teaching for all the family over a three day period.
Marquee Hire
Our marquees are being hired out for weddings and birthday celebrations across Yorkshire. Perhaps our most exciting events will be working with Bishopthorpe Palace in John Sentamu’s final year as Archbishop of York.
Our marquees are being used for a youth event in April and a retirement luncheon for 300 in May.
We are looking forward to working with some wonderful organisations and suppliers again, such as Beverley Races, Pocklington School, York University, Villa Farm, Rudgate Brewery, Ainsty Farm Shop and Angie Walker Flowers.
If you want to book our marquees for 2020, please contact us now to avoid disappointment.
